Teacher Biography

Xiner Chan, the co-founder and principal teacher of the Paragon Academy of Dance, currently a member and a training teacher under CSTD. Aside from dancing and coaching, she is a professional choreographer. She choreographed several award-winning pieces of classical ballets, modern jazz and contemporary dance in CSTD and RAD dance competition.

Since she was 5, she started to dance classical ballet and modern jazz under CSTD. At the age of 8, she started the training of RAD classical ballet. She received a silver medal when she was participating in the CSTD summer school program in Singapore, under the level 3 category. At the age of 13, she was the main cast of various dance performances. She completed her RAD Advanced 2 classical ballet and successfully scored a high grade for CSTD Intermediate classical ballet and modern jazz 5. As a reward to her hard work, she won several prizes under the solo and troupes category.

Xiner’s passion for the dance industry is constantly motivating her to improve further. Other than that, she will always be a good tutor for all dance lovers out there.
